A new Division 5 blog featuring all the news from around the league gets underway with a short issue today.
An encouraging 9 managers signed up for Division 5 and it is developing into an interesting race for promotion. Leaders Birmingham City are unmanaged after Sam Sam quit while they were top of the table. This was a surprising move but since he left Birmingham have managed to hold their position. Nottingham Forest are the club chasing Birmingham and lie 4 points adrift. Michael Hudson has the job of leading Forest to Division 4 at first attempt and is doing a fine job so far. Since losing the opening game of the season, Michael has remained unbeaten for the next 13 games.
Next come Ipswich Town managed by everybody's friend Cloughie. Again, only 1 defeat for Cloughie so far, ironically at the hands of Forest. Unmanaged Blackpool and Bolton follow Ipswich and then, just inside the play off places comes Dale Bowers and Wigan. Dale has 25pts from the 14 games and is usually there or thereabouts come the end of the season. Burnley, managed by Ben Langan, are next and although I don't know much about Ben, well nothing to be honest, he seems a good manager and one to be respected. My Derby County lie 8th and we are improving as the games go by and have currently won 3 in a row. Hopefully this run goes on for a bit longer. The Villain comes next with Torquay and I'm sure Josh picked them for the milder climate rather than the love of the team. He will be another one expecting rather than hoping to be in the shake up at the end.
A trio of unmanaged sides come next and then in 13th position is Mac The Hat with Aberdeen. Mac seems to like the teams that have a beach. Why this is will be a question I will be putting to him. He will disappointed with his position in the table and will be hoping to finish at least above Torquay. Father's shouls always finish above offspring. Preston are next without a boss and then comes Clint 'slippery slope' Brownfield and his Plymouth outfit. He usually starts well and then hits the slippery slope down the table. Maybe the opposite is going to happen in this league. Motherwell, Bury and Portsmouth are unmanaged and then come Hearts and Dale Piero languishing (sp) in 19th. That's second bottom Dale. What is going on there? Are you a Hibs fan in disguise? Dundee bring up the rear mainly because they are shit.
That's the introduction to the league and the bosses that are habiting within it. There will be league updates, results, previews and interviews as well as transfer news as the season goes on. Hope you all tune in.
S'laters.

EARLY DAYS IN RUGMUNCHERS.
STUART CLELAND
In tops spot and 6 games unbeaten Mr Cleland is dominating division 1. His greatest win over Spurs 4-0 with his 4-2-3-1 tight marking tactics proving mostly successful so far, can Stuart hold on to the top spot???? Lets ask MYSTIC MEG.
STUART IS STILL EXPERIMENTING, HIS PERFORMANCES ARE GOOD AND HIS CONSISTENCY LIKE CUSTARD, I SEE THINGS GOOD AND THINGS BAD AND IT'S ALL GETTING FOGGY, OH WAIT IT'S CLEARING YES YES I THINK STUART WILL FINISH IN THE TOP THREE.
Thank you Meg!!!!
BEN PATCHET'S CHELSEA.
second in the magnificent seven.
Ben Patchet sits second for now and uses a 4-4-1-1 attacking style play mostly, with occasional blips but usually successful, with a great result against Fenerbahce 6-0 he tends to employ special moves and can be a tricky customer, lets see what Meg has to say.
BEN PATCHET IS DESTINED FOR GOOD THINGS, HE KNOWS HIS PLAYERS AND USES THEM WELL, MEGS PREDICTION IS THIRD!!!
JOHN HUNTERS BARCELONA.
A bit hit and miss just like everyone, all still experimenting in the early days of Rugmunchers. But with a stunning win 7-0 against a strong Arsenal, John has the potential to win so lets see what Megan has to say.
JOHN STRIKES ME AS A DEEP DEEP PERSONALITY WITH SPECIAL TALENTS, I THINK JOHN COULD DO WELL HERE BUT PERHAPS NEXT SEASON,
ADAM POPE'S REAL MADRID.
Adam has started well and sitting pretty in fourth spot he adopts a 4-4-2 no frills approach and his greatest win is against Valencia 3-0.
Still early days for Adam as it is for everyone in Rugmunchers so lets see Megs verdict.
ADAM IS A BRILLIANT YOUNG MANAGER WITH A BRIGHT FUTURE, I PREDICT A TOP THREE FINISH FOR THIS YOUNG MAN.
ANDY DYER'S DORTMUND.
Another team struggling for consistency hence the tightness at the top and part and parcel may be due to experimentation during these early days but Andy is having some success with his 4-2-3-1 and special moves approach.
Andy's greatest win is a 4-0 thrashing of B. Munich
Lets see Megan's verdict.
ANDY IS A STRONG MANAGER AND I PREDICT HE WILL DO WELL LATER IN THE SEASON, PERHAPS A LATE RUN FOR THE FINISH.
Penultimately in our magnificent seven is Dale West's MAN UNITED.
Dale adopts a no frills 4-4-2 and is finding it quite successful so far, he had a great result against Liverpool 3-0 with his simple approach and could be another dark horse in this set up, only time will tell. Lets hear Megan's predictions.
DALE IS A SEASONED MANAGER AND I PREDICT A TOP FOUR FINISH AFTER A LATE SURGE.

coming soooooon.
A full and frank review of division 1.... 12 games in and only 5 points separate the top six teams.
This weekend we will have the full story with predictions for the future from special guest Mystic Megan, football psycic and TV celebrity.
Also pmw was correct with DEEPDALE, but no one got the famous Townend as the name for the stand, I once saw my m8 slim get kicked from top to bottom of that famous stand by Sunderland fans, I don't know what he was doing in that end but how we laughed about it later.
good night and may your god go with you CLOUGHIE
