SANTOS COMPLETE THE SIGNING OF

SAMUEL ETO'O

 

 

BREAKING NEWS coming out of Brazil today is that Santos have completed the signing of striker Samuel Eto'o.

Santos manager Karl Atherton introduced his new signing to the fans and media at a press conference this afternoon, this is what Atherton had to say -

 

"We showed interest in Samuel at the start of this season but he was unavailable at that time.

His agent contacted me 2 days ago to say his club were willing to listen to offers, we had a brief chat and agreed a transfer fee over the phone in minutes.

Samuel has had a great career, he has played right at the top of the came on the biggest stage, he has played with the best and against the best.

Samuel has always been a natural goal scorer and I believe he gives us massive options upfront, this signing shows we still thrive to be better and it gives other players great competition.

I feel I have brought some massive signings into the club since I arrived, we are looking for back to back promotion and signings like Samuel will just had that extra strength to our challenge"
